Michael Georgopoulos

Michael Georgopoulos, also known as Mikey G, is a prominent figure in the food and beverage industry with over two decades of experience. During this time, he's led the design, development, and management of over 20 unique hospitality projects.  After a successful career with Starwood Hotels, he co-founded RMD Group with his uncles, Dave and Dan Renzella, and together they have built and managed some of San Diego's most popular nightlife and dining destinations. Michael's innovative contributions to the industry have earned him recognition, and he continues to lead a passionate team of industry leaders who share his commitment to excellence contributing to RMD Groups' continued success.  As the Chairman of the Gaslamp Quarter Association, Michael is also a vocal advocate for the development of Downtown San Diego and generously shares his knowledge to advance the community.
