STEPHEN PARTRIDGE

Stephen Partridge is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with a successful track record of founding, co-founding, and restarting companies with funding, exits, and acquisitions experience. He is the President and Founder of Events.com, a company focused on providing scalable event management solutions that positively impact society. As a father of three boys and a passionate waterman, Stephen brings a unique perspective to his work. He has a vast array of experience in IT, publishing, coaching, marketing, and corporate leadership, making him a valuable asset to any organization. In addition, Stephen has served as an international investor, advisor, board member, and executive, working with leading national and international entrepreneurial ventures. Stephen is a senior executive with proven functional team management and strategic leadership skills. He has managed complex budgets and built international teams, overseeing minority investments, full equity sales, and full corporate or asset acquisitions. He has also served on the executive committee of TEDx La Jolla, a community dedicated to inspiring and promoting positive change. 

Stephen's contributions to the entrepreneurial community are extensive. He served on the planning committee of FreshFounders in Ottawa and worked with a great team to create a peer support network for founders by founders, which has had a significant impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He was also elected to the board of Startup Canada, serving as chair of strategy and operations for four years. Startup Canada is Canada's leading entrepreneurial grassroots movement, focused on building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that fuels economic prosperity and serves as a strong global model. Stephen holds two science degrees and has completed multiple professional courses, including an IT-Management degree (B.Sc. IT) with a focus on operational efficiency and a Kinesiology degree (B.Sc. Kin) with a focus on human performance coaching. His strengths include vision, foresight, leading from behind, strategy, patience, relationship building, and entrepreneurship. Stephen's focus is on scalable company start-ups and re-starts, specifically in the technology sector with a positive social impact.
